Education's purpose is to replace empty minds with open ones
Dear Shahab
I found your comments on having army family…
In my case, I have a sister who is studying medical science, married, and with permanent citizenship.
I am worry on my destination a lot and do not have a good feeling.
What is your idea on this and how should I handle it in interview?
Regards,
Nadgod

In general, I believe that telling the truth is better but it doesn't mean that you should give a lot of information. there is an expression : The best policy is honesty As I can undrestand from your message your destination is the same town as your sister, soif the officer asks you about your sister, tell the truth otherwise do not give him/her excess information. If you like to be a resident of the country after your education I think this is the best answer: "I don't hide my intrest in living in your country so if I receive a job opportunity and a visa after my education, I will think about it. If I don't receive a visa I will go back home"
In the case your destination is not the same town, especially another far state, in my opinion it affects only 10%.
If you don't mind, tell me to send this message to everybody in the forum.
Best regards,

Dear Shahab
Thank you for your kind reply.
Well, I just have to behave in an honest manner!!
Your comment: “I don't hide my interest in living in your country so if I receive a job opportunity and a visa after my education, I will think about it. If I don't receive a visa I will go back home”, is somehow strange to me!
The truth is that I really do not have any decision of living at USA for the rest of my life. However, I do not know how to prove it while my sister is a permanent citizen!
The worst is my admission from a university exactly in a common state!
Being and behaving in an honest manner would be done without any doubt, but I need some clues and tricks to prove them I do not want to be there forever!!
I would be so pleased if you put the answer in the forum. This is why we have gathered here…
Thank you and looking forward to your answer,
Navid

as i mentioned in somewhere else:
Thus, it is the chance determining our destination, nothing else!
Hence, Having Self-confidence, being polite, and being calm are three golden keys to enhance our chance for receiving visa, are they?
