بستگی به دانشگاهتون داره .نمره کل شما برای اکثر دانشگاههای کانادا و آمریکا خوبه ولی نمره اسپیکینگ شما ممکنه برای بعضی از دانشگاهها قابل قبول نباشه.

من این هفته برا اولین بار امتحان دادم و خب حالم بد شد سر ریدینگ نمره هام به این صورت شد:

خب بیشتر دانشگاههایی که میخوام ۸۰ میخواستن اما من خودم برای ۱۰۰ امتحان دادم که متاسفانه خراب شد
حالا میخوام بدونم ممکنه که علیرغم بالای ۸۰ بودن (min requirement) بخاطر ریدینگ کم مشکل پیدا کنم
چون الان جای خالیم نداره برا تست و سخته پیدا کردن جای خالی

یه سوال مسخره!
من هفته پیش دادم و نمره م هم شد 106.
R = 21
L = 29
S = 29
W = 27
کلا همونطوری که میبینید به جز ریدینگش، بقیه ش خوبه. من یکی دیگه هم محض احتیاط نوشته بودم برای حدودا 8 آذر (میلادیشو یادم نیست! ) به نظرتون نمره کم ریدینگ، برام ممکنه مشکل درسته کنه؟ اون آذریه رو هم بدم؟ الان دارم GRE میخونم و آخر آبان که GRE رو دادم، یه هفته ای وقت دارم باز تافل مرور کنم... به نظرتون چکار کنم بهتره؟

نمره تون خیلی خوبه. نیازی به آزمون مجدد نیست. معمولاً مهمترین بخش ها Speaking و Writing هستند که نمره شما در این دو بخش خوبه.

نمره تون بد نیست و برای اکثر دانشگاه ها مشکلی واسه پذیرش ندارید. اما اگر دنبال TA باشید به مشکل بر می خورید احتمالاً. همینطور بعضی جاها برای پذیرش هم مینیمم روی Speaking می ذارند که معمولاً بیشتر از نمره شماست.

بعضی دانشگاه ها برای هر بخش یک مینیمم تعیین می کنند که معمولاً مثلاً بالای 18 یا 20 یا 22 اینا هست. برای این دانشگاه ها نمره تون کافی نیست. اما برای جاهایی که مینیمم روی هر بخش ندارند مشکلی نیست اگر که مینیمم نمره کل رو آورده باشید. چون نمره Speaking و Writing بد نیست.

حالا میشه نظرتون رو بهم بگید. من برای 14 ژانویه دوباره ثبت نام کردم یعنی فکر میکردم که خیلی خیلی خیلی بد دادم و همون روز که برگشتم دوباره اسم نوشتم.
حالا میشه بگید که به نظرتون ایا دانشگاههایی که میگن بالای 100 این 96 رو ممکنه قبول کنن؟یا میگن دوباره امتحان بده؟
این توضیحاتی که خود ETS داده قضیش چجوریه؟
براساس نمره هایی که گرفتم، و این توضیخات جدول بالا چه پیشنهادی میتونید بهم بدید.
اگه دوباره قراره امتحان بدم که با تفکر خودم چون اسمم رو نوشتم میرم و دوباره میدم (مگر کسی پیشنهاد دیگه ای بهم بده) :
روی چی کار کنم؟ چون وقتم خیلی محدوده تمام کارهای دیگه پذیرشم مونده امتحان جیمت هم دوباره باید بدم. توی هر قسمت به خصوص S چه کاری بکنم؟
تو این مدت با فرضا روزی 1 ساعت نهایت 2 ساعت آیا میتونم این نمره رو افزایشش بدم؟ یه جوری که 104-105 بشه؟

به طور کلی نمره قابل قبولی گرفتین مخصوصا که هیچ بخشی رو نمره خیلی پایین ندارین.
بسته به اینکه کدوم کشور و کدوم دانشگاه میخواین برین یه کم متفاوته. این جا (http://toeflnow.com/toefl-score) رو یه نگاهی بندازید. بر اساس کشور و به تفکیک دانشگاه مینیمم نمره، شرایط خاص هر دانشگاه و لینک به صفحه مربوط به نمره تافل رو گذاشته. اگه میخواین برای TA شدن تو امریکا یا کانادا اقدام کنید بعضی دانشگاهها نمره بالاتری تو بخش speaking میخوان. اگر برای بورس استرالیا تلاش میکنید برای اکثر دانشگاههای ممتازش باید مجموع 90 رو داشته باشید. در مورد writing هم بعضی جاها مینیمم 25 رو در نظر میگیرن. از نظر readingو listening البته فکر نمیکنم کمتر از مینیمم هیچ دانشگاهی قرار بگیرید.
در مورد اینکه امتحان دوم رو بدید یا نه. اولا که دادن امتحان که هیچ ضرری نداره. فوقش اگه امتحان اولی نتیجه بهتری داشت، کارنامه اولی رو برای دانشگاهها میفرستید. همونطور که حتما میدونید ETS برای تافل برخلاف GRE هیچ سابقه ای رو برای دانشگاهها رکورد نمیکنه و نمره هر امتحان مستقل از امتحانهای دیگه معتبره. ولی اون چیزی که تجربه نشون داده، بهتر کردن نمره از 96 به 105 به مراتب سختتر از پیشرفت از مثلا 75 به 90 هست. دلیلش هم اینه که دانش زبانی مورد نیاز برای 90-،95 تا 120 معمولا معادل سطح زبان پیشرفته تلقی میشه و چیزی نیست که صرفا با یاد گرفتن به اصطلاح لِم سوالات تافل خیلی راحت بشه بهش رسید. اگه سطح زبانتون تقریبا در حد پیشرفته باشه با روزی حتی یک ساعت و با در نظر گرفتن تجربه ای که از امتحان اول به دست اوردین، بله میشه نمره رو بالا برد. وگرنه باید وقت بیشتری بذارید، برای speaking و writing معلم یا کسی که شما رو تصحیح کنه داشته باشین. برای تستهای سختتر هم برای reading کتاب Cambridge و برای listening کتاب Barons رو پیشنهاد میکنم تا با بالا بردن این دو بخش نمره کلی رو هم بالاتر ببرید.

دختر جان دست از سر اين تافل بردار و به فكر جيمت باش. تجربه من توو برخورد با دانشكده ها اينه كه سر اين اختلافاي كم كوتاه ميان. البته اينم اضافه كنم كه كلا دو رويه وجود داره. بعضي جاها اينجوريه كه مدارك رو مستقيما واسه دانشكده ميفرستي. جاهايي كه اينجورين فكر نكنم مشكلي باشه و راحت قبول ميكنن. اما بعضي جاها مدارك رو بايد واسه graduate school بفرستي كه اين مورد يه كم سختتره. نكه قبول نكننا، اما خوب tough تر برخورد ميكنن

دوستان؛ من نمره تافلم اومد.امتحان رو 22 آبان داده بودم و ظاهرا دیروز نمرش اومده بوده.اونقدر که فکر میکردم افتضاح نشده ولی خب بازهم ایده آل نیست.الان نمرم اومده به این صورته:

ببینید دوست عزیز به نظر من نمره کل شما خیلی خوب هست.
پارسال یکی از دوستای من امتحان داده بود و نمره ش شده بود 94 ولی دو باره که امتحان داد، نمره ش شد 92!!!
با اینکه میگفت برای بار دوم بیشتر خونده بود!
به نظر من زیاد به نمره حساس نشید. اون دوست من نمره اسپیکینگش شده بود 25 و برای TA هم اقدام کرد و بهش گفتن که باید یه یه دوره دو هفته ای همون جا بگذرونه و ازش برای Speaking یه امتحان جدا گرفتن. برای همین به نظر من شما خودت رو درگیر این مسائل جزئی نکن و روی مسائل مهمتر تمرکز کن!
شما الان مینیمم نمره برای اکثر دانشگاهها رو دارید و به نظرم بهتره به خودتون بابت نمره تون تبریک بگید!

من از این نمره خیلی ناراحت نیستم. منتها چون دانشگاهها اکثرا میگن بالای 100 نمیدونستم که این نمره من چقدر فرق داره و چقدر اهمیت میدن بهش

بعد هم اون روز امتحان حس کردم بد دادم، اومدم دوباره ثبت نام کردم.کنسل کردنش هم که نصف هزینه اش رو میخوره پس امتحان بدم بهتره. حتی اگه 30 دقیقه هم بتونم واسش وقت بذارم ممکنه کلی فرق کنه چون من برای قسمتهای s , w بدون آمادگی رفتم و هیچ تمرینی نکرده بودم. اینبار میتونم یه template یاد بگیرم بفهمم چی به چی باید بنویسم و به چه ترتیبی شاید نمرم بهتر شد

بعد هم چون برای دانشگاههای خیلی تاپی دارم اقدام میکنمف باید پروفابلم خیلی خوب باشه تا بورس بگیرم. من هم توی بقیه قسمتها خیلی سرتر از بقیه نیستم و متوسطم برای همین هرچی بالاتر بگیرم بهم میتونه کمک کنه

چشم. وقتم رو میدارم روی بقیه چیزها ولی اگه با روزی 1 ساعت تمرین واسه اسپیکینگ و ... بتونم یکم نمرم رو بالاتر ببرم این کار رو میکنم.
به 2-3 تا دانشگاه هم ایمیل میزنم میپرسم که چقدر روی این نمره حساسن.من حد بالا رو در نظر گرفتم. خیلیهاشون اصلا 80 یا 90 میخواستن.
