پرسش در مورد اعتبار ژورنالها و کنفرانس ها

بچه ها یک سوال: هر چقدر impact factor زیاد باشه دلیل اعتبار بیشتر؟ citation رو میشه یکی معنی دقیقشو بگه؟

بله هر چه بالاتر بهتر.
مربوط به بحث ارجاع به مقالاته که همین IF از روی اون به یک ژورنال داده میشه.
یعنی هرچی Citation یا ارجاع به مقالات یک ژورنال بیشتر باشه، IF بالاتری میگیره.

The answer is so-so. It means that many journals are gaming with impact factor. You can find many journals with high impact factors but low quality articles.

به این مجله ایمیل زدم و در رابطه با ISI بودن مجله پرسیدم .
جواب این بود :

AJAS is still SCIE journal.

این یعنی چی ؟ SCIE آیا اعتبار بین المللی داره ؟

2008 Impact Factor

Due to high self-citation, metrics for AJAS was not published in the 2008 JRC.
This, however, will not change coverage of AJAS in Web of Science and other
Thomson Reuters products, so that AJAS is still a SCIE journal even though
Impact Factor for 2008 is not available (You can search AJAS in master files
by using ISSN: 1011-2367).
We hope AJAS will be re-listed in a near future edition of JCR.

SCIE is short form of Science Citation Index Expanded index. Actually, the ISI word we use in Iran is equal to this index. There are many indexes in Thomson such as Zology or SCI, ..
but the most important index is SCI. All journals get impact factor two years after indexing in SCI or SCIE which is called two years impact factor.

سلام. راستش شاید دوستان مکانیکی بهتر بتونن نظر بدن اما میدونم ASME که همون American Society of Mechanical Engineers باشه و یکی از سرشناس ترین موسسات فعال در رشته مکانیک هست، مجموعه مقالات کنفرانسهایش (Transactions) رو در سایت مخصوص به انتشارات (Publications) خودش نمایه می کنه و خیلی از مراکز علمی و دانشگاههای خارجی هم اکانت مستقیم برای استفاده از منابع این سایت رو ندارن.(چیزی شبیه ASCE در رشته عمران.) به هر حال بایستی در نظر داشت ISI یکی از پایگاههایی است که کارهای علمی را نمایه می کند.

نظرتون راجع به مورد زیر چیه؟ در چه سطحی قبولش دارید؟ (بعد از elsevier ?

راستی یه سوال دیگه ما یه مقاله به اینجا فرستادیم همین امروز و یه مشکل کوچیکی توش هست میتونیم دوباره ایمیل بزنیم و عوضش کنیم؟

و اینکه آیا میشه بعد از اکسپت گرفتن اسم اضافه کنیم؟
