Hi,
I am sill in AP, My interview was on November 8th 2017
I did interview in US consulate in Toronto
It is postdoc position but university applied for H1B, My H1B petition was approved in October 2017
Consulate considered waiver for my application
My concern is I received those questions 4 months after my interview
That`s true, I have also some friends waiting for a year now with a Canadian PR status (now as as a waiver). Unfortunately there is not even a rough estimatation on how long it takes to be finalized.
It seems that previous travels (specially to US) and military service records will delay the process as well as being on the TAL list. Having said that, some cases with less probability to delay, cleared long later than those with a higher risk to be considered even as normal applications. At lease based on the applicants` major, travels, background and other related information
Nobody after the ban, I found cleared in less than a month and may be few probably under a couple which was more common in the past . That was the reason I am asking to see if any body has any other info to share.
Thanks
