There is an open position to conduct a Ph.D. at the University of Idaho.We are looking for a highly motivated Ph.D. student that will work on cyber-security applied to the smart grid (power grid operation and control, state estimation, protection).Desirable skills consist in a very good knowledge of power system operation, synchrophasors, control theory, estimation theory or signal processing.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
