Post Title: Research Fellows (Post-Doctoral Researcher)
Post Status: Specific-purpose contract (full-time) to undertake research on urban-scale, adaptive services for the Internet of Things, as part of the Enable spoke, hosted at the CONNECT Centre.

Salary: IUA Post-Doctorate Researcher Level 1 or 2 salary scale in line with government pay policy [€36,854 - €37,383 per annum], appointment will be made no higher than point [2.1].
Hours of Work: 37 hours per week

Post Summary
The positions will be hosted at the Distributed Systems Group, based in Trinity College Dublin (https://dsg.scss.tcd.ie/). Established in 1981, the Distributed Systems Group (DSG) is the longest standing research group in the School of Computer Science and Statistics at Trinity College Dublin. DSG conducts basic and applied research into all aspects of distributed computing extending from the theoretical foundations underpinning the field to system engineering issues. Our expertise is in the areas of middleware, ubiquitous computing, mobile computing and software engineering. In addition, DSG leads Future Cities, the Trinity Centre for Smart and Sustainable Cities (www.tcd.ie/futurecities/).


Enable is funded by Science Foundation Ireland and is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
