Hello;
I am an Iranian citizen wanting to apply for USA student visa through your embassy.
Ironically enough, I see that all your appointment times have been already booked. I think it is by agencies that doing this shameful action for selling the appointment times and also by some applicants who are not completely decided to be there. The U.S. embassy in Afghanistan is experiencing the same problem. I have an idea for you that may stop this matter.
As you may know, the U.S. embassy in Ashgabat has a policy that foreign applicants are not eligible to make an appointment through normal system. They have to send an email requesting an appointment instead. In addition, they have to attach their visa to the email, in order to be granted an appointment time. By following this procedure, you may see that their appointment times are free for June 13th and later.
Many of the appointment times are booked by some individuals who are not really decided to come to your embassy. If they have to send you their Cyprus visa, the number of such applicants diminished significantly. If so, you have a table which is free of so many falsely fully booked days which enable real applicants to make their appointment on their desired dates.
Finally, I would like to say that I know that you are not responsible for such problems, and you can simply assign only one day in each month to foreign applicants as U.S. embassy in Baku did. But I really hope you could think of other ways to enable real applicants to book their needed appointment times without getting into trouble. And I think Ashgabat experience would be one of those applicable ways.
Warm and Kindly regards
