سلام بر بچه های Apply Abroad
چندی پیش به یک استاد دانشگاه آمریکایی ایمیل زدم و این جوابو گرفتم:
Your request that I consider your application is very interesting to me.
I may be beginning to build contacts with -------------. There

is one potential difficulty, however. The only Ph.D. program

--------- that would be possible (and that I take part in) is the

Ph.D. program. This is not ideally suited to

the research that you would be doing! Of course we can, in principle,
do just about anything you would wish, especially since I am split between
----------------

The other aspect you should be aware of is that I do primarily analytical

work, not large scale simulations. Still, if you came, we could perhaps
find some funding to combine analytical work and simulations. Here I
am thinking of the industry in which you have been working - if they
are also enthusiastic about having you work with me.
Thank you very much for contacting me and maybe we can work out

something. If you do wish to enter the our Ph.D.

program here, I will try to make sure that you can be admitted.

به نظر بنده حقیر جواب خیلی خوبیه ....ولی کلا زمانی قضیه حل میشه که پاتو گذاشتی تو آمریکا (:... فکر کنم بهتره بعد از چنین ایمیلی اول از استاد تشکر کنی که جواب داده و بپرسی که فاند داره یا نه؟؟ البته فاند RA?? احتمالا باید ASSISTANT باشه؟؟؟؟

ایمیل زدم به یه استاد دانشگاه با رنکینگ پایین، توی رنکینگ ۱۶۰ تایی مهندسی‌ اسمش نیست!
اونم ایمیل منو برایDirector of the Center فرستاد. جواب اومد،که واضح بود تمپلیت بود چون خیلی‌ زیاد بود، یا اینکه اینا خیلی‌ بیکارن این موقع سال!!

اون که آره سعید جان وقتی سوار هواپیما شدی اون وقت حله
نه پروفسور کامله!یکی از coworker هاش یک سری اطلاعات و فایل درباره نحوه اپلای برام فرستاده.الان باید چی بهش بگم؟...
