نظرسنجی در مورد ایمیل های دریافتی از اساتید

سلام دوستان
من حدود دو ماه و نیم که با یه استاد تو illinois at urbana champaign در تماسم و با هم اسکایپ داشتیم. مدارکم را زودتر از سر رسید فرستادم. امروز ایمیل زدم اینو دوباره گفتم (دفعه اول جواب نداد) و این را جواب داد:
You need to have patience. As I mentioned earlier, all the applications will be reviewed by the graduate admission committee before making a decision. If you are in that selected list, I would be happy to consider you as a Phd student in my lab. At this moment it is not in my hand.

مختصره چون روی تلفن جواب داده. حالا چی بگم که بیشتر تشویقش کنم تا ساپوزتم بکنه. آخه تو مصاحبه میگفت میتونه رو کمیته تاثیر بذاره حالا چرا میگه باید کمیته تصمیم بگیره؟؟؟!!
متن ایمیل ارسالی من هم اینه. کمک کنید تا بتونم ارتباطم و حفظ کنم:

Hope you are fine. This is an email to inform you that I have formally applied to the department of XXX at UIUC on Dec 18th. My Application ID is : XXX.
​I have also mentioned your name in my SoP which was an honor for me.

Professor, Could you please have a look at my application? I am very worried about the status of my application. Thus,
Please let me if I should take any other measures. ​

I have attached to this email my Application form which contains my SoP, updated CV, a paper under development as my sample work and the rest of the requirements.

خیلی خوبه که استاد پیدا کردی و میل های دریافتیت از حالت تمپلیت در اومده. من نظر شخصی خودم رو میگم. الان زیاد نرو روی اعصابش (مخصوصا الان که عیدشونه)، اگه بخواد ورت داره این کارو میکنه و برعکس. بالاخره شما هم باید صبر کنی کمیته تشکیل بشه. کاری که میتونی بکنی اینکه جانب احتیاط رو حفظ کنی و چند جا دیگه اقدام کنی (که فکر میکنم این کارم کردی).

دوستان نظرتون راجع به میل زیر چی میتونه باشه. نمیدونم برخورد کردید یا نه بعضی از ایمیل ها هم میتونه تمپلیت باشه و هم میتونه نباشه. من این ایمیل رو دیروز گرفتم:

Thank you for your interest in my research projects. I will be delighted to be your advisor during your education at ..... Please start your application as soon as possible. The department due date for evaluating applications is sometime in the middle of February. So it is important all documents are uploaded by the end of January.

Please make sure you mention in the application statement that you would like to work under my supervision and keep me updated about the progress of this application

خودم فکر میکنم 60 درصد تمپلیت نیست ولی 40 درصد هم درصد کمی نیست

اگه اين دانشگاه كميته محور نيست بايد از استاد بازم سوال كنيد تا بالاخره بفهميد به شما پول ميده يا نه
اگه نه كه اول بايد فكر كنيد كه آيا از سد كميته ميتونيد رد بشيد يا نه. مثلا بايد نمرات زبانتان در حد اين دانشگاه باشه. اگه اوكي هست شانس شما بعد از گرفتن ادميشن از دانشگاه بيشتره چون استاده از كار شما بدش نمياد، اگه رزومتون در حد اين دانشكاه نيست شايد اپلاي نكنيد بهتره

This is very clear, as your major is not the same as him, he is asking you whether you want to apply for his group, or you are contacting a wrong person.
This is your fault because you did not write your Email very nice, he is confused with your Email.
If you are going to change your major, you have to mention that because of these reasons I decided to change my major and now I am going to apply for this new major. And you have to mention that his research interests are the same as the one that you are planning to do.
