Dear Mr.Trudeau

I'm an Iranian applicant for immigrant investor program(Quebec program). Like many other applicants from Iran I have received my CSQ and invested C$800,000 about two years ago. The Iranian applicants' files are supposed to be processed in Canadian embassy in Ankara, Turkey. But since that time the processing time in this visa office which was about 18 months has been revised up for 3 times to 31, 39 and now 40 months. At the same time many other visa offices processing Chinese and European applicants' files are completing the work in a much less time period. We have spent a lot of energy and money to get admitted by Quebec officials and invested the money but it seems the Canadian government is paying no attention to our confusing and uncertain situation. We all have tried to get out of Iranian government's unfair acts against the investors by immigrating to Canada and investing our assets there but have stuck in another unfair situation, this time imposed by the ministry of immigration. I, like many other Iranian applicants, ask you to please do something to stop this unfair practice which is hurting the reputation of Canadian immigration system.

I hope all is well. Last week we received medical for an investor case. It had taken over 40 months. I have posted the embassy site that indicates the time frame is also 40 months from the time of the file number.

This is the first medical we have received in over one year. I hope this is the start of some movement in the embassy by the new immigration Minister that was appointed 2 months ago.

I am not in Tehran to meet. The CSQ could be renewed as soon as the embassy in Ankara to request it.

These processing times only apply to the federal part of the processing (at the visa office) once we have received the complete application. It does not include the time it takes for the province of Quebec to process the Certificat de sélection du Québec(CSQ).

Files in the Federal Investor category are processed in order of receipt, based on the date on which complete application and fee payment were received. Once the file has been reviewed, we will contact the applicant directly to advise the result of the initial review and/or any next steps in the processing of the application, such as whether an interview will be required.

Canada has a carefully managed and controlled immigration program that is committed to maintaining a balance of economic immigrants and non-economic immigrants, which includes family class, refugees, and those in need of protection. Please note that changes in the volume of new applications received and in the resources available to process them can lead to shorter or longer processing times. Some applications, owing to their complexity, take longer to process than others. Processing could be delayed by any of the following factors:

* An interview is required
* The applicant has not complied with a request for documents or information
* We are awaiting the results of background checks or verifications
* A medical examination and/or treatment is required

Historical processing time statistics are not always an accurate means to predict future processing times. Processing times are a function of a number of factors, including the number of applications received, the number of applications that can be finalized, in keeping with permanent resident targets set annually, and more specifically operational issues such as the time required to complete statutory checks. Times vary from one visa office to another since visa offices face different challenges operating in different countries and regions.

We regret that at this time we are not able to provide you with an estimate of when your application will be finalized.

- Change of address or contact information, including email address;
- Request to withdraw your application and refund the application fees;

من یه پیشنهاد برای برقراری ارتباط بهتر بین درخواست کنندگان مهاجرت کانادا دارم که در این سایت فعال هستند. از اونجایی که این سایت قابلیت رای دهی و پیگری پست های قبل و بعدرو نداره خیلی از پست ها یا خونده نمیشه و یا اگر مهم باشن راهکاری نداره که مثل فیس بوک بشه لایکش کرد. و یا سریع زیرش پاسخ داد. و اینکه چقدر هر کدوم از پاسخ ها رو چقدر از افراد دیگه باهاش موافق هستن رو نمیشه فهمید. برای همین من پیشنهاد میکنم یه صفحه خصوصی برای افراد این گروه درست کنیم و همه اونجا عضو بشیم و مقداری از این گفتگو رو به اونجا منتقل کنیم.
