چگونه می شود در یک ژورنال عضو Elsevier مقاله چاپ کرد ؟

در مورد figure caption اکثر ژورنال های Elsevier یک فرمت را دارن و نوشتن که figure caption به صورت جدا پس از رفرنس ها باید قرار بگیره، موقع آپلود هم میتونید جدا آپلود کنید و هم میتونید در manuscript پس از رفرنس ها در یک صفحه جدا قرار بدید.

Follow this order when submitting manuscripts: Title, Authors, Affiliations, Abstract, Keywords, Main text, Acknowledgements, Appendix, References, Figure Captions and then Tables

Supply captions separately, not attached to the figure

سلام دوستان میخوام یه مقاله به مجله ای تو الزویر بفرستم نمیدونم اصلا cover letter چیه؟
Item files should be placed in the following order:

1. Cover Letter
2. Title page
3. Manuscript without title page
4. Tables (if any)
5. Figures (if any)
6. Supplementary Material (if any)

For each file you wish to submit, scroll down and:

1. Select the appropriate Item from the drop-down list. Mandatory items are marked with an asterisk (*).
2. Enter a Description in the text box.
3. Click Browse.
4. In the opened window, select the file on your computer (original source file, not a PDF) and click Open. 'File Name' is filled now.
5. Click Attach This File.

Repeat steps 1-5 to attach the next submission Item. When all Items have been attached, click Next at the bottom of the page.

When attaching a compressed file, it will be unpacked. For each file the appropriate Submission Item Type must be selected and the description field must be filled in. The files should be numbered in the correct order before proceeding.

Note 1: Double-blind review: Please note that all author details should be included in the item 'Title page' and removed from the manuscript itself. This enables the journal to keep the author details from potential reviewers.

Note 2: Figures, graphics, photos should not be embedded in the manuscript text file. Please upload separate figure files, preferred formats are EPS, TIFF, JPEG.

Note 3: If a Figure or Table is uploaded as a separate file, then please exclude this from the manuscript text file, otherwise it will be shown in the PDF twice.

Note 4: For each Figure and Table please include the appropriate figure/table number in the description field. This helps the Editor identify the figure/table in the PDF.

نظر ما مهم نیست! در راهنما توضیح داده شده که چه باید کرد. معمولا در انتهای متن اصلی بعد از رفرنس ها به ترتیب توضیح های عکس ها و جدول ها آورده می شود.

مراحل اررسال مقاله به صورت گام به گام در سیستم است:
1- ثبت نام در سیستم Elsevier
2- ورود به عنوان نویسنده
3- پر کردن فرم های online به صورت گام به گام
3-1- عنوان مقاله
3-2- چکیده
3-3- کلمات کلیدی
3-4- وارد کردن نویسندگان
...
مرحله آخر که Upload است که مدارک مربوط به ترتیب upload می شود:
1- نامه cover letter که درواقع نامه کوتاهی است خطاب به سردبیر مبنی بر اینکه مقاله "-" برای داوری ارسال می گردد (نمونه های آن را میتوانید در فروم پیدا کنید.
2- متن مقاله بدون وجود جدول و شکل (برخی مجلات اعلام می کنند که اسم نویسندگان بایست حذف شده باشد و در این صورت یک صفحه جدا شامل اسم نویسندگان نیز باید ارسال گردد)
در رابطه با ارسال جداول و اشکال سلایق مختلفی وجود دارد.
3- من شخصا تمام جداول را در یک فایل word قرار داده و یکجا upload می کنم
4- سیستم Elsevier فیال های office را هم علاوه بر JPEg و ...قبول می نماید. در مورد اشکال شکل ها را جداد جدا upload میکنم.

در مرحله بعدی سیستم کلیه مدارک را به صورت یک pdf ساخته و برای شما میفرستد. شما بید آن را چک کرده و در صورت تایید دکمه submit را بزنید دراین صورت مقاله شما برای سردبیر ارسال گشته و کار شما در این مرحله به اتمام میرسد.

می توانیم شکال از جمله فایل های اکسل را داخل ورد کپی کرده و ازسال کنیم یا نیاز به استفاده از jpeg است؟

پست های اخیر را بخوانید، چندین بار توضیح داده شده است.
معمولا نمی شود مستقیم از اکسل کپی کرد و باید فرمت مورد نظر را داشته باشد. اگر مشکلی داشته باشد و فایل نهایی ایراد داشته باشد هم خودتان متوجه می شوید هم خودشان تذکر می دهند.

مطابق راهنما انجام دهید اما وسواس نداشته باشید.

بنظرم در متن مقاله بهتره. مثلا شما عكسي داري كه توضيح داره، اونه بهتره كه در زيرنويس عكس بياري نه خود عكس

1- Cover Letter فايلي است كه عمدتا براي تمام مجلات مانند الزوير نياز است. در پستهاي ديگه توضيح دادم اگر چك ميكرديد. فايل كاور لتر نامه اي است كه شما براي اديتور مجله مينويسيد در آن بيان ميكنيد كه مقاله شما اوريجينال هست، جايي بصورت جزء يا كل چاپ نشده و در حال حاضر جاي ديگري تحت داوري نيست. همين ميشه فايل شما كه در يك فايل ورد مينويسيد. من ي نمونه ميذارم شما خودت براي خودت درست كن

دوستان من ژورنالم اکسپت شده ولی حالا واسه چاپ کردنش میگن که عکسات واضح نیستن و درستشون کن. حالا من اصلا سر از این Artwork media در نمیارم. لطفا کسی هست راهنمائیم کنه و بگه این Arrtwork چطوریه و چکار کنم؟؟ پیشاپیش ممنونم.
