CGSB Standards and Specifications
There are approximately 900 standards covering:
• Building and construction
• Business (office) equipment, supplies and
furniture
• Electronic records as documentary evidence
• Food and organic Agriculture
• Geomatics
• Government of Canada forms
• Paper and paper products
• Conformity assessment:
– Personnel training & certification: Non-destructive
testing
– Laboratories
• Protective clothing
• Textiles
• Transportation fuels
• Transportation of dangerous goods
CGSB Committee Responsibilities
• Support the development of Canadian standards for
various technical areas of interest.
• Similarly support the development of International
(ISO) Standards.
• Shall give public notification (public review) of
standardization activities to allow interested persons or
organizations an opportunity for contributions.
• Support stakeholders, economic, regulatory,
health, safety and environmental interests.
• Facilitate the purchase of goods and
standards across provincial or federal
boundaries.
• Harmonize diverse standards (two standards
that meet the same requirements)
• Provide a sound quality base for products
and services
• Help Canadians compete internationally
• Support the CGSB and other conformity
assessment programs

• CSA Standards was established in 1919 as the
Canadian Engineering Standards Association (CESA).
It was the first organization in Canada formed
exclusively to develop industrial and commercial
standards.
• To better reflect the breadth of CESA's activity, it
officially became the Canadian Standards
Association (CSA) in 1944, and then CSA Standards in
2009.
• Today it is Canada's largest standards development
organization. The foundation of CSA’s business is
consensus-based Standards

میخواستم لطف کنین و راهنماییم کنین، من در ایران لیسانس مکانیک خودرو دارم و می خواهم برای کلگری اقدام کنم البته عموم هم اونجاست میخواستم بدونم برای کار یا راحت پیدا کردن باید چه مدارکی از ایران بگیرم مثل انواع نرم افزارها یا حالا از چه طریقی که بعد از اقدام راحت تر باشم؟؟!
