1. What is the exact meaning of Joint Degree/Double Degree?
This program is offered in two versions: a standard one as the program of our university only and a second version which has been created in cooperation between the two universities. Participants in this Double degree program earn both gradations, that from TU Ilmenau and that from the partner university.

2. About the double degree with KNRTU-KAI in Kazan: Is it mandatory to take some courses in Kazan or is it optional?
No, you can chose the only German program. For Iranian people, I do not know if there could occur troubles with the visa.

3. Should I apply for DAAD fund by myself or Ilmenau University will consider me for this fund? Are there any requirements or specific process?
