I dont know. it really depends on the department and number of applicants and ...
but you can alwayes reach the related staff by phone and ask for the status. they are (mostly) supportive and responsive.

خب این خیلی خوبه که پول اتوبوس و ... نمیخوایم بدیم ولی از طرفی فکر میکنم بخاطر این جمعیت کمش و اینکه نمیشه زیاد روی موضوع کار حساب باز کرد
خیلی به صرفه نباشه
چون با این وضع قیمت ارز معلوم نیست چطور بشه و من باید روی کار دانشجویی هم حساب کنم
فکر میکنید با چند یورو بشه ماهانه زندگی رو گذروند ؟؟؟؟

Hi,
If you intend to study as a master student, specially after your first semester, there are many university student jobs available as HiWi. its in general easy to find one and it pays about 9.4 euro/hour. if you are bachelor student, it will be about 8 euros per hour, .
other than university, the research institutes located in the city are also offering student jobs (even more than uni) which pays about 11 euros per hour.
in general, I havnt seen any one who has intended to get a HiWi and havnt suceeded.
but of course other types of job opprotunities, like working in a restaurant ,... are less comparing to bigger cities.
your expences will be about 400-550 euro, for a typical student life.

خب دانشگاهش به نظر خیلی ایده آل میاد
چون توی رنکینگ دانشگاهای المانی در مکانیک ششم بود ( البته در کل هم دانشگاه خوبی هستش)
هزیه های زندگی توش ک ه با این حساب نسبتا پایینه
و کار دانشجوییم که فرمودید خوب پیدا میشه
فقط شهرش یکم کوچیکه ، که اونم واسه من مشکلی به حساب نمیاد
فکر نمیکنم چیز دیگه ای لازم باشه

Hi,
electrical engineering is a very well developed decipline in ilmenau. it has various departments on every layer of communication engineering, from physical up to app layer. you can judge the departments by their publications. its also true for other electrical engineering specialization from Power engineering , control , to robotics and informatics. all are supported by different departments. but honestly we have a small university, and not even all of engineering courses are offered here hence we never get a high score in ranking lists. by the way you can find very famous professors in the field of signal processing here

It's not true for our university. specially electrical engineering department is highly international, and here and there you can find iranian PHD students in university,
since my field of study is communications, I'm not so expert about the power professors ... .

since, (mosly) PHD students are hired by the professors, and its not a pre-scheduled process, there is mostly no deadline to apply or contact professors. but of course their responce depends on weather they have enough funding to hire new students or not..

شروع ترم جدید از اول اکتیر هست. البته 10 روز اول به انجام کارای مقدماتی اختصاص داره واسه سال اول.
since the visa application process is longer in our country than their average expectation, its even better for you to apply before march.31 (some times admission letters dont delivered on time and ...)

if you have applied for mobicom, you should just wait... after making decision they will contact you.

in our university, Prof. Hein is the head (va hamekaare) of Microwave and antenna department. any PHD position in this area should be aproved by him.. so I suggest you to contact him \too.
