Greetings everyone, apologize for not writing in Persian as I'm not very good at it.
recently I graduated from Bachelor of civil engineering with honors from a respectful university in Malaysia. My CGPA is 3.75/4, I have 4 published papers. I was in the Dean's list for the entire degree. Plus I have several certificates such as TOEFL with high score and STAAD Pro official certificate from Bentley. I was representative of international Students because of my multi-linguistic ability. I'm member of two professional engineering bodies as well.
My supervisor suggested me to apply directly for PhD, I started to apply for top 50 universities in the civil and structural field based on QS ranking. So far I got plenty of replies from various professors.
My question is do I need to take GRE? Cause most of universities in the US require GRE and I canceled them out. Right now I have potential chance to get to PhD with fund from some universities in the AUS and Asia. Since my pinpoint of searching was based on QS ranking, there was only 3-4 US universities and I ignore them. Please guide me accordingly. Shall I grab the current opportunities I have or be patient and get the GRE for US universities?
Millions of thanks my compatriots
