Scholarship for Bachelor Degree Study in Yunnan! Free Tuition and Accommodation!@Yun Nan University
A: Fully Funded Full University Scholarship:
• 17700RMB/student/year, to cover the tuition fee and accommodation of each year
• The funding of tuition and accommodation fees will be deducted by the finance department of Yunnan University at the beginning of the school year.
This means you don’t need to pay anything for the study and accommodation, just prepare for your daily food cost that is very cheap but very good at university.
B: PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIP
• 12700RMB/student/year, to partial tuition fee and accommodation of each year
• The funding of tuition and accommodation fees will be deducted by the finance department of Yunnan University at the beginning of the school year.
This means you just need to pay a small part of the study and accommodation, around 3000-6000RMB/year depending on the major and your daily food cost that is very cheap but very good at university.
Who can apply?
A: For Full Scholarship:
1. Being of good character, obeying Chinese laws, observing Yunnan University's regulations, and respecting Chinese customs and public morals.
2. Health condition conforms with the "Health Examination Standards for Foreign Students" issued by the Chinese Ministry of Education.
3. Being of the age between 18 and 35 in principle.
4. Students applying for bachelor degree need to meet the following requirements:
①have obtained the graduation certificate of senior high school or above;
②HSK meets level 3 in majors relating to Chinese language;
③HSK meets level 4 in other majors.
Note: If you don’t have HSK3/4, you can apply first to secure a scholarship seat, then in the first year, study Chinese and prepare to pass HSK3/4.
The scholarship is not available for Chinese language study, the fee for language study is 5800RMB/semester and 11600RMB/year. Accommodation cost is 1350RMB/semester ( 6 months) at Yun Nan University.
B: For PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIP
1. Being of good character, obeying Chinese laws, observing Yunnan University's regulations, and respecting Chinese customs and public morals.
2. Health condition conforms with the "Health Examination Standards for Foreign Students" issued by the Chinese Ministry of Education.
3. Being of the age between 18 and 35 in principle.
4. Students applying for bachelor degree need to meet the following requirements:
1). have obtained the graduation certificate of senior high school or equivalent academic certificate.
2). IELTS meets 6.0 or TOEFL meets 80 or other equivalent level.
Note: Chinese level is not a must. It’s for English taught majors and the tuition fee per year is 15000RMB before scholarship. After scholarship, you just need to pay around 3000-6000RMB/year.
What Majors can we apply?
A: Chinese taught programs, with level of HSK4
There are many majors from art to science, economy, engineering, marketing, business, IT etc. Contact us for the list of majors.
B: English taught programs, no need Chinese level (only partial scholarship available)

June 10th, 2019, the earlier, the higher of the success rate to get the scholarship approval.
