این ایمیلی که امروز برام اومده و صراحتا توش گفته لهجه ها تصحیح نشده و در این مورد فقط ریسرچ هست
I am writing to you regarding the TOEFL that you had taken on March 16, 2013. You are concerned about the additional of English accents in the listening section. We tried to make this public by posting this information on the website in advance so that the test takers would not be shocked. For now the addition of accented scripts are being used for research purposes, and will not count toward your test results. Please review the paragraph below for the reason why we have added the accents.
"New Native-speaker English Accents Added to the TOEFL iBT® Test
The TOEFL® program will begin adding native-speaker English accents (for example, from the UK and Australia) in addition to the accents from North America in the Listening and Speaking sections of the TOEFL iBT test.
Due to its extraordinary growth, the TOEFL test is now used for decision making in more than 130 countries worldwide. The inclusion of additional accents reflects the kinds of English that test takers are likely to encounter wherever they choose to study or work today.
Additional accents are initially being used for research purposes and will not initially count towards the score.
Sample questions containing native-speaker accents from Australia, the UK and New Zealand are available on the TOEFL website at
http://www.ets.org/toefl/ibt/about/content/."
If you have further questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,
Steve Krimstock
