    پیش فرض معيارهاي انتخاب از بين چند آفر

    حالا فرض كنيم كه جواب اپلاي ها اومده و يكي بخواد بين دانشگاههايي كه پذيرش گرفته، يكي رو انتخاب كنه. مسلما فاكتورهايي رو در نظر مي گيره.

    ولي كسايي كه پذيرش گرفتن و رفتن، ممكنه با مسايلي مواجه بشن كه تو ذهن ما ها نياد و يا اهميت اونا واسمون ناچيز باشه (در صورتي كه اهميت دارن).

    از بچه‌هايي كه رفتن خواهش مي كنم معيارهايي كه براي انتخاب يكي از آفرها از بين بقيه مهمه رو بگن.

    اينا به ذهن من مي رسه كه ممكنه درجه اهميت اونا واسه هر كسي متفاوت باشه:

    - رنك دانشگاه
    - اعتبار استاد
    - پروژه‌اي كه گرفتي
    - مقدار پولي كه ميدن
    - آب و هواي اون شهر
    - بزرگي اون شهر
    - وضعيت گروني در اون شهر
    - داشتن دوستاني در اون شهر
    - امكان ديفر كردن

    بقيه موارد را شما اضافه كنيد.

    پیش فرض پاسخ : معيارهاي انتخاب از بين چند آفر

    I believe there should be a firm trade off (give and take=moamele)among choices;
    Taking one advantage or more when selecting an offer might lead to a loss in other offers' advantages sacrificed for our accepted current conditions; so there could not be a complete and perfect choice while other offers are also contributing better and more outstanding aspects; so take a look into yourself, meaning that you should figure out what your expect ions from a study abroad are, what r u looking for, which conditions and life style would make u crazy patient you more to withstand terrible conditions no longer, why a rank should be important or why it should not be, what will happen if I graduate from a lower rank, and what will be a godsend for me if going for a higher rank, if somebody is single or married, and many many questions taken into account to make a fair Trade Off!!!
    some other factors I could name are:

    Other Ten commands!!!
    1-rank in a specific major(some people like their major to be in a higher rank regardless of that of a univ)
    2-How that state/city contributes to job opportunities after graduation (some cities/states are believed to be growing in offering jobs and ,...)
    3-How well known is a university (for instance UCLA is very famous but not holding a top-10 rank in so many majors) Keep in mind that being famous is something other than standing in a good rank; for some people seeking for jobs after graduation and staying here in better chances (for me, this is an important factor to decide on)
    4-Iranian society population in that city and Iranian event(for instance they recently held an Iranian Parade in Boston but we didnt have such thing in Atlanta)
    )
    5-The crime rate in cities that would be less and more somewhere (f.i Atlanta is famous for that, but I myself have not seen anything in this area, i might have been lucky)
    6-The states themselves; if they are flat and desert or green; they might affect your campings someday
    Accessibility and being in neighboring to states your close family/friends might live in
    ;
    7-Name of a country; f.i for me, USA could have been better in its name than CANADA; otherwise I would have been within my last year of PhD rather than the first!!!!
    8-Your job plan; f.i if you have planned to return to Iran and be a faculty in a univ, in my belief, USA is better in its fame and eye-catching power (if not believing send me off lines, or PMs )
    9- Visa issues; f.i USA suggests some deep concerns about it
    10- Your HEART; not your LOGIC; sometimes regardless of a second thought and a profound observation in selecting offers, our HEART suggests us what to do, what to select; an idea behind this is that some times we are more satisfied with our heart decision than our brain decision; it MIGHT work but not always; A combination of them (heart and logic) is also reasonable; Intuitions offered by the GOD could lead us when we get LOST in decisions

    and finally asking the GOD please help me to make my best decision as you have been destined for me to be my best!!!
