Life is interesting! You cannot believe some stories which happen to others, until they happen to you. And you may accept them as a rule when they start to happen to more people after you. But we should stop the string before everyone accepts it as a rule!
I experienced one of these stories this week, after I realized my account in the Bank of America (BoA) is frozen without any notification. I assumed it is something rare and the problem would be solved very soon, although I had heard some other Iranians and even American-Iranians had the same issue. When I started to search on this issue, surprisingly I found out this is happening in all other branches of BoA on a random but continuous basis.

Closing a group of people’s account just based on their nationality is a discrimination and against civil rights. So, we should stop it before it becomes a rule! It is easier if we do it as a union. So, I called
(NIAC) because they started to solve the problem by contacting BoA’s authorities.
