Not sure, but I think you may not be able to use this visa for the next year
In general, you need to get your new I-20 and take it to embassy, they will issue your visa based on the new I-20
But there's another rule that they don't issue a visa earlier than 4 months before start date of your I-20. Since you have admission for next August your clearance will be expired before you can get your visa.
I think what you can do, get your new I-20 first, then contact embassy and tell them about your new I-20, and see what's their suggestion
