I have a PhD admission from UF in Architecture and I have also applied to the same degree in Virginia Tech. I believe Virginia T is a more prestigious university and you will find a better opportunity to pursue your studies towards the doctoral degree there
Consider that Virginia is a joint university with Washington Alexandria Program.
