صبور باشيد و ادامه بديد.اگر اين وضع ادامه داشت متنتون رو كاهش بديد و دقت كنيد داريد به كساني ايميل بزنيد كه حتما با شما در علاقمندي مشترك باشند. نه مثل برخي دوستان كه ليست فكالتي جلوشونه و از دم به همه ايميل ميزنند. معمولا استادها اصلا به اين ايميل ها حتي جواب سر بالا هم نميدن. شادزي

من 30 تا دانشگاه آمریکا رو سرچ کردم و اساتید کاملا مرتبط رو در آوردم و متن من ایمیل من اینه و جواب هایی که گرفتم رو هم میزارم. چون اساتید کاملا مرتبط رو انتخاب کرده و ایمیل میزنم انتظار داشتم که تعداد بیشتری جواب بدن. حول و حوش ساعت 7 شب تا 10 شب هم ایمیل هام رو میفرستم تا تو ردیف های بالا تو اینباکسشون باشه وقتی صبح ایمیل رو باز میکنن.

Thanks for the email! I do know if I will be hiring any more Ph.D.
students this coming year. The way that we do things in mechanical
engineering at Northwestern is that students apply and come as a group
and then get matched with their advisor in their first year through a
matching process that is organized at the departmental level. I
strongly encourage you to apply to the department!

از بین این همه ایمیل به اساتید مرتبط فقط اینها جوابیدند.
بقیه هم ظاهرا علاقه ای به جواب ندارند یا از پروفایل من خوششون نیومده.
البته من زیاد بر جواب اساتید تکیه نمیکنم بلکه فقط واسه این ایمیل میزنم تا ببینم که اصلا دانشجوی جدید میخاد بگیره یا کمپلت دانشجو نمیخاد واسه 2014 و دیگر اینکه ببینم که اگه جواب خاصی بدن بهتره و در واقع لیست نهایی دانشگاه هام رو narrow تر کنم. و به دانشگاه های نهایی که اپلای خواهم کرد نزدیک تر بشم.
