دوستان من یه ایمیل از یه استاد تو دانشگاه duke گرفتم که اینجوری گفته،

Thanks very much for your interest in our group and sorry for the late reply (looks like I lost your email and found it just now when cleaning up by Inbox). Your research experience and CV looks very good and I think you would be a good PhD candidate.


I should however let you know (1) that our work is purely theoretical/computational, and (2) I will be moving to Duke University MEMS department next year and will be recruiting PhD students there. Please let me know if you are still interested.


If so, can you also forward me your GRE and TOEFL scores and PDF of publications you have co-authored. Also, could you please request three referees to email me recommendation letters on your behalf. You should also applying directly to the Duke MEMS department and mention in the SOP that you would be interested in working with me (their deadline Dec 30th is fast approaching)

این پست رو در قسمت مشاوره در خصوص ایمیل های دریافتی از اساتید میزدید پاسخ های بیشتری میگرفتید ولی بهرحال.
این ایمیل اصلا شبیه تمپلیت نیست. پاسخ خوبیه بنظر من. منتهی با توجه به رنک این دانشگاه، نمرات تافل و GRE شما پایینه. قطعا توی رزومه تون نکات برجسته تری بوده که چشک این استاد رو گرفته.
من جای شما بودم اپلای میکردم. 50-50 هست دیگه.

سلام.
من سال گذشته به یکی از اساتید مکانیک ایمیل زدم. منشیش جواب داد و گفت اینجا کمیته تصمیم میگیره و نه استاد.
اما از طرف دیگه جواب خیلی خوبیه. من بودم پیگیری می کردم.
