Ph.D. opportunity Department of Computer and Information Technology at Purdue University

The Cyber-Physical-Social Systems Design Lab is in the Department of Computer and Information Technology at Purdue University. The director of this lab, Dr. Jin Wei-Kocsis, is looking for a Ph.D. student with good programming skills and solid mathematical background in doing research in Artificial Intelligence including Machine Learning, Security and Privacy, Networking, Intelligent Control, and Blockchain. The expected start time is Fall 2021


The great university support and the emerging research direction & projects will prepare the students well for their future careers (either academic or industrial). The candidate is expected to have good programming skills such as C++, Java, and Python and a very strong background in mathematics. Furthermore, GRE and TOEFL scores are required.
