یه خبر خوب برای دانشجویان در حال تحصیل در مقطع PhD
همونطور که از دسامبر سال پیش شایعه شده بود قرار است که یک قانون کار جدید برای بعد از تحصیل برای دانشجویان دکترا در آپریل اعلام بشه
من خودم تا چیزی را در UKBA نبینم باور نیمکنم ولی چند تا دوست انگلیسیم که وکیل هستن گفتن که تصویب شده
هنوز دیتیل این قانون رو اعلام نکردن
فکر کردم خوب باشه برای این موضوع یه موضوع جدید بزاریم تا اگر کسی خبری یا اطلاعی داره در اختیار بقیه بزاره

New post-study working permissions for PhD students

From April 2013 students studying for a PhD at LSE will be able to apply for permission to work for 12 months at the end of their studies. The new scheme is not yet open but is due to be introduced in April under the Tier 4 regulations (ie it is not a separate Post Study Work application - the time will be added to your study period). The details of the scheme are not yet finalised and some of the points below may change when the policy guidance is published but we understand that:

• you will have to apply for the additional 12 months before you complete your studies at LSE - ideally 60 days before (The completion date will be the date you are expected to receive your results in writing).
  
• you will need a CAS from LSE confirming that you wish to seek or take work in the 12 months after the end of your studies
  
• you will be required to formally keep in touch with the School during this period
  
• you will need to provide evidence of funds
  
• you will be able to take any kind of work - it will not need to be connected to your research
  
• you will be permitted to work full time from the date you complete your programme at LSE (if you have an application in process)

We will update our guidance as soon as the policy guidance is published (this may not be until April when the scheme is introduced).

In December 2012, the Home Secretary announced two new routes for working in the UK. They are both due to come into force in April 2013, but we do not have any details yet of how they will work in practice.
PhD students should be able to stay in the UK for up to 12 months after having completed their PhD in order to look for work. The current proposal is that they will do this with Tier 4 immigration permission, not with a new work-related immigration category. It is possible that some of the restrictions that apply to work with Tier 4 will be lifted once you complete your PhD and make a Tier 4 immigration application under this proposed new PhD provision.

جزئیات مشخص نشده ولی به نظر میاد فارغ التحصیلان دکترا اجازه خواهند داشت یک سال رو در انگلیس بمانند تا کار پیدا کنند یا بیزنس خودشون رو شروع کنند.

متاسفانه در همین مصاحبه هم گفته شده که به شدت تعداد مصاحبه ها برای ویزاهای Tier 4 افزایش خواهد یافت.

امروز تغییرات جدید در قوانین اعلام شد که براساس آن دانشجویان دکترا میتونند یکسال بعد از تحصیل در انگلیس بمونند و کار پیدا کنند:

Can I apply for the Doctorate extension scheme for PhD students?

If you are a student completing a PhD at a UK higher education institute you can apply to stay in the UK for a further 12 months after your course completion date.
This applies to Tier 4 PhD students who start after April 2013 and to those already in the route, but who have not completed there studies by April 2013. If you have completed
your studies, but your leave has not expired by April 2013 you can also apply for an extension of 12 months.
If you do want to apply for the Doctorate extension scheme you will need a new confirmation of acceptance for studies (CAS) from your Tier 4 sponsor. You must apply no more than 60 days before your course completion date on your CAS. If you are given permission to stay under the Doctorate extension scheme you will have full unrestricted work rights, except for some limited professions such as doctors or dentists in training or sportspersons (including coaches). You will be able to work without restrictions once your Tier 4 sponsor has confirmed that you have finished your PhD.
Your Tier 4 conditions apply while you are studying.

دوستان معلوم هست منظور شون از قسمت کا ر افرینی چیه؟یعنی کسی که از انگلیس دکترا بگیره دیگه نیاز به سرما یه گذاری 200000 هزار پوندی برای گرفتن ویزای کار نداره و فقط به یه بزینس پلن می تونه کار افرین بشه؟ممنون

Once you have successfully completed your PhD there will be fewer restriction on the work you can do and can use 12 months to gain further experience in your chosen field,seek skilled work,or develop plans to set up as an entrepreneur

قسمت پر رنگ به این معنی نیست که از مدت 12 ماه استفاده بشه برای فراهم کردن یک برنامه برای کارافرینی؟یعنی اینا نمیدونن دانشجو 200000 پوند نداره که بخواد کار افرینی کنه؟احتمال نمیدید که شرایط بهتری رو برای فارغ التحصیلان دکترا فراهم کردن برای کارافرینی همونطور که شرایط کار کردن رو بهتر کردن؟یه چیزی مثل Graduate entrepreneur?
