Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is
XXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXX. I was born in Iran on April XX, 19XX. I am a Quebec-selected applicant for permanent residence (
File # B000000000). At the federal stage of permanent residence visa application processing, my file was first opened in Damascus in October 2010, but was later transferred to Ankara. Now after a long wait (nearly 30 months), I learn that applications like mine are going to be further processed in Paris visa office.
As I follow the news and developments about my application through CIC website as well as social networks and Internet forums just like many other Iranian applicants, I would like to convey to you a recent growing concern among us (2010 applicants) regarding the apparent lack of orderly treatment in the processing of the applications at the very current stage of “application updating” in Paris office. There is a considerable number of 2010 applicants who have not received any notification from the Paris office for their delayed applications to be updated, whereas applicants of the later dates (including 2011 and 2012) are being given directions and guidelines to update their applications in an email sent from Paris, that serves to be an ‘acknowledgment of receipt’ as well.
I assume that the treatment of applications is based on the “first-in, first served policy” (apart from the prioritized applications relevant to the in-demand list of occupations and areas of training).
I would be very much grateful if you could kindly advise me why the current treatment of the applications is NOT on the basis of the initial receipt date of these applications. I understand and trust that there is a perfect, well-intentioned and justified consideration for the current method of treatment which is not known by me but which has made applicants like me a bit disheartened.
I take this opportunity to express to you my heart-felt gratitude for all your gracious services and to admire the responsive attitude of Citizenship and Immigration Canada which is reflected in its global case management system marked with high flexibility and effectiveness.
With warm regards,
XXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXX
